Me
Hailing from Orange County, California, and emerging onto the writing scene as a freshman in high school, Andrew Pahl published his debut book after studying multiple years of college-level biology and developing a love of nature that became central to his writing.Andrew always had a strong connection to storytelling growing up. In elementary school, his teacher read several of his short stories, recognized his passion, and selected him to publish a book with Student Treasures Publishing (which Andrew hopes will never again see the light of day, as it was literally written by a third-grader). As he continued writing into high school, his love of storytelling met with inspiration from watching the movie Alien, leading him to put his own spin on "thought-provoking thriller." Thus, his novel Silence was born.
One thing led to another, and now his passion for telling stories has transformed into writing a novel and several poems, instructing others in creative writing, and running a podcast dedicated to telling the remarkable stories of others.
When he is not putting pen to paper, Andrew passes the time with martial arts, soccer, reading, and watching Formula One racing with his dad. He also loves hiking, camping, and being close to nature for inspiration in his writing, although he does not do it as often as he would like... maybe his book is to blame?
